MY name is Melvin Neumann
I am a photographer, artist and event manager based in Berlin. I have been taking photographs since the 2000s and with the advent of social media, I prefer to work with analogue / instant photography for a purely artistic impression and against the flood of digital images.
„The perfect is the enemy of the good“- is an important artistic principle of my photo work. I try to take photos immediate and as direct as possible with using a simple point & shot camera and only one shot per motive without editing afterwards.
Beside photography I make noise with sound machines and do music & performance related projects for 20 years now.
